Following our 2023-24 inspection, GEMS Wellington International School is proud once again to announce its inspection result from the KHDA – Outstanding for the 15th year running.

Key successes are highlighted as:

• Students’ well-developed learning skills, and their excellent attainment and progress in almost all subjects
• Students' attitudes and behaviour, their appreciation and respect for the values of Islam and the culture of the UAE, leading to a very good sense of social responsibility
• The quality of teaching, lesson planning and delivery that supports the positive outcomes of students
• The broad curriculum experiences offered to meet the needs of students, especially in KS4 and Post-16
• The quality of leadership, self-evaluation, parental partnership, governance, management and facilities and resources, which are making a positive impact on students’ outcomes

GEMS Wellington International School is also proud to be Outstanding in all areas of the British Schools Overseas (BSO)  Inspection.

Key successes are highlighted as:

• All inspection judgements were rated outstanding
• The school’s extensive, high-quality facilities greatly assist the teaching of the curriculum.
• Teachers know pupils well as individuals and have a detailed knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses.
• Pupils have a very good understanding of Islamic values and awareness of Emirati and world cultures.
• Parents and pupils are exceptionally positive about leaders’ responsiveness to any concerns.
• The highly effective leadership team has excellent capacity to identify, plan and implement sustainable improvements and support GEMS Wellington International School as it continues to grow from strength to strength.
• Partnerships with parents are given a high priority and levels of communication are excellent.
• Older students are excellent role models for others in the school and speak exceptionally highly of their time at GEMS Wellington International School.
