Assistant Headteacher - Student Culture and Experience - Lower School Year 2-4
I began my journey at WIS in 2018 and have felt privileged every day to be part of such a vibrant and forward-thinking school community. With over 11 years of experience in education, I have worked across all Primary year groups, served as a Computing and Science Curriculum Coordinator in the UK and led as Head of Year 2 for the past three years.
Now in my role as Assistant Head of Years 2–4 for Student Culture and Experience, I remain committed to ensuring that every child is at the heart of everything we do at WIS. I continue to champion student voice, celebrate individual strengths and create inspiring experiences that support both academic growth and personal development.
Providing leadership opportunities to students is something I actively strive for, as it empowers them and deepens their engagement. I believe it is essential that every child not only achieves academic success but also develops a strong sense of identity, confidence and purpose. Promoting student wellbeing and creating space for children to shine—both in the classroom and beyond—is central to my leadership philosophy. Every child deserves to feel seen, valued and supported in all areas of their development.
A large part of what makes WIS so special is its close-knit and supportive community. I take pride in building strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders and in fostering a culture rooted in empathy, integrity and fortitude. I am passionate about strengthening the connection between home and school and I look forward to working collaboratively with families to enrich the student experience at every stage.
I am excited to continue this journey and to make a meaningful and lasting contribution here at WIS.
