Head of Year 10
I joined WIS in August 2021 after more than a decade of teaching in the United Kingdom, predominantly at academically high performing and selective schools. After gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Economics, I undertook a PGCE in Geography at the Institute of Education, University of London. Since then, I have not looked back and have previous experience of academic and pastoral leadership.
I am passionate about young people making the most of their time at school and always want to encourage students to make the most of the abundant opportunities on offer. Outside the classroom, I have led a number of international school trips, from Morocco, to Sri Lanka and Yorkshire to the Alps, as well as coaching a variety of sports teams to victory in a number of regional and national competitions. My aim is to lead by example and for my students to live up to the WIS Way. I am very much looking forward to getting to know my Year Group and to work alongside them, their parents, and the wider school community.
