Scarlett Christley

Head of Curriculum and Assessment - Primary

As Head of Whole School Literacy and Curriculum and Assessment for Primary, I lead on whole-school strategy to ensure our provision is inclusive,  ambitious,  and research-informed. I hold a degree in education and bring over 1 3  years of teaching experience, including 10 years in international British curriculum schools. This experience has shaped my commitment to delivering high-quality learning that inspires curiosity,  creativity, and academic excellence.

In my role, I oversee the development of a coherent, progressive curriculum and lead on the implementation of effective assessment systems. I work closely with staff to ensure that data is used meaningfully to inform planning, monitor progress and drive school improvement. I also support the professional growth of colleagues through coaching and training, with a strong focus on consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.

My leadership in literacy is embedded across all phases of the school, ensuring that students not only build strong foundational skills but also develop a lifelong love of reading, writing, and communication. I am passionate about working in partnership with families and the wider school community to ensure every child leaves us confident, articulate and well prepared for the future.
