Katrina Moss

Assistant Head - Student Culture and Experience Lower School

I graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012, and went on to study for my PGCE at Kingston University. I began my teaching career in the UK at a school which had a strong focus on leadership and pedagogy development. This helped shape my teaching style and embedded a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

During my teaching career, I have held the roles of Head of Creative Curriculum, Learning Environment Development Lead, Social Responsibility Leader, Head of Year 2 and Head of Year 1. I was delighted to become Head of Year at WIS in 2017 and strived every year to create a positive supportive environment within my team where all students could flourish and grow. In the role of Assistant Head of Student Culture and Leadership, using this philosophy, I strongly believe student experiences and learning opportunities drive wellbeing, and are at the heart of education. I thrive on daily focus of the pastoral care of students, ensuring every child in the Lower School has wonderful learning experiences and memories each day.
