GWIS Accolades and Awards 2008 - 2010
- A student at GEMS Wellington International School received the award for academic excellence from CIE as the top student in the world for German.
- Global Young Leaders Conference
Two students from GEMS Wellington International School as well have been invited to attend the conference in 2010 in New York.

GEMS Wellington International School won the Best Sales and Marketing award in the Young Entrepreneur competition in 2010.

In 2010 GEMS Wellington International School won World Scholars Cup in 2010 qualifying to represent UAE in Beijing, China.
- In 2010 GEMS Wellington International School held its second Model United Nations with 7 participating schools including guest school from the UK – Ivybridge College.
