Meet the Year Leader of Year 10

Hello,this is Mrs Hazel Turner ,I have recently been appointed  Leader for Year 10.
What an exciting time for all of us, myself, the students and you, their parents; it is the beginning of a new and important phase in the school careers of the Year 10 students.
I am delighted to be involved in this aspect of school life as I get to see how the students progress not only in their academic studies but also as they become involved in many more aspects of school life taking on a whole variety of leadership roles. I firmly believe that we should be aiming to develop the “whole” student so that they are better able to cope with the myriad of things that life will throw at them in the future.
Clearly we all want the best possible results for all of the students by the time they reach the end of Year 11 and in order to achieve this it is vital that we work together; there will be the regular coffee mornings where we will have the chance to meet, you will also receive emails from myself and the tutor team in addition to information that we are now able to place here on the website. The Year 10 tutor team has lots of exciting plans for this year which will, we hope, add to the academic experience throughout Year 10, and are very much looking  forward to working with you.
