Meet the Year Leader of Year 8

The Journey to Excellence

Hello, my name is Melissa Fitzgerald and I am the Head of Year 8. Originally from Australia I have two boys, one 15 and one nine. I have been at Wellington for over three years and I am excited to play a key role in shaping the growth of your children, especially as they transition into the IB Programme in Years 11 and 12. As a Head of Year my priorities are to support the development of students pastorally and academically; on their personal Journey to Excellence, and I would like to use this theme to inspire students and parents to share ownership of the learning process.
