Celebrating Examination Success - Best Results in GEMS Wellington's History!

It gives us great pleasure to start the year celebrating with you the best examinations results in Wellington’s history since the opening of the school in September 2005. Congratulations to the entire Year 11, 12 and 13 Cohort for 2009, and some of our younger students in Years 8 , 9 and 10 (as part of our fast-track programme in selected subjects) on their examination results.

A* - C  89%  (up by 23% from 2008)
A*- C    79%  (gained by additionally supported students who were 35% of the cohort)

Ruairidh McAndrew - gained 140 more UCAS points than his CATs prediction – Film, PE, Business Studies
Souren Gharnagharian (Year 11) gained our 1st A grade at A Level Arabic
Vineet Gupta, Gitika Ojha and Gyujin Ha (all Year 9) all received marks of over 75% in their Maths papers
