GWIS have a wide range of activities supporting the children’s development in creative and performing arts as well as in sport and the curriculum.
About the activities:
• The school activities are being led by school based staff and are without additional cost to parents.
• After school clubs run from 2.50-3.50 pm for Primary students and 3.10-4.10 pm for Secondary students.
• All children attending after school activities must be collected promptly at the end of their session.
How to register your child for Primary Activities:
• Discuss this programme with your child and fill in your 3 after school club choices on the foot of this letter, in order of preference.
• We will endeavour to allocate 1 after school club to each pupil. All clubs are filled on a first come, first served basis.
• Return the slips to RECEPTION as soon as possible.
• Teachers will confirm the club with the students via their communication books.
• The Secondary activities schedule will also be on display outside the library for students to view throughout the term.
How Secondary students register:
Seconday students need to attend the club they want to join and register with the teacher on the first day of the activity.
E-Sports Paid Activities
GEMS have engaged the services of E-Sports for additional activities and these will run after our free school based activities. There are costs for all these activities as detailed on the attached schedule. Places are not guaranteed and are allocated if vacancies are available and on a first come, first served basis.
However, as we cannot have unsupervised children at school waiting to attend a club which starts later in the day, we ask you to please select a school club which slots in on the same day as your paid activity, unless you are prepared to collect at 2.50pm and return your child to their coaching session at the later time.
